FSA was represented by Carlos Lopez, Angel Daniel Calva, and Luis Moya in the 2017 Badawi Challenge RYC/RJCC held at the Austin Sports Center, in Austin, Texas, on February 4th & 5th 2017. In the event FSA came away with 5 top 8 finishes, of those finishes FSA fencers won 1 silver medal and 1 bronze medal. In Y14 Men’s Foil Luis Moya finished top 8. In Cadet Men’s Foil Luis Moya again finished top 8 and Carlos Lopez took home the silver medal. In Junior Men’s Foil Angel Daniel Calva finished top 8 and Carlos Lopez won the bronze medal. Congratulations Boys! Way to rope in the medals down in Texas!
