Fencing Sports Academy Fencers Competed in the Capitol Clash this past weekend Friday February 1st - Sunday February 3rd 2019 held at the Gaylord hotel in the National Harbor. FSA Fencers did fantastic at this event earning 10 podium finishes! The medal breakdown is as follows, 1 Gold, 1 Silver, 4 Bronze, and 4 Top 8 medals. Fencers Participated in the Winter RJCC in Richmond this weekend and came away victorious. FSA fencers earned an incredible 13 medals at this two day event. 5 gold medals, 1 silver medal, 1 bronze medal, and 6 top 8 medals. Our fencers competed at The Apex Challenge and St James RJCC this past weekend, January 12th & 13th 2019. FSA came home with a total of 24 medals this weekend! 4 gold medals, 3 silver medals, 6 Bronze medals, and 11 Top 8 finishes. The valiant fencers of FSA captured 32 medals in total in Foil and Epee at the Fairfax Chalenge RYC/RCC held in Maryland on December 29-30, 2018, including: 6 Gold, 5 Silver, 9 Bronze, and 12 Top 8. FSA ranked number 1 in terms of total number of medals and total number of Gold and Silver Medals.
Our champions totally dominated the podium with the next club capturing only 17 medals. Congratulations to all the fencers who participated, to the supporting parents, and to our great coaches. Based on Medals Won at Regional and National EventsWe are pleased to announce that, based on the findings of the National Fencing Club Rankings organization, Fencing Sports Academy was the leading fencing club in Virginia for the 2016-2017 season. The findings are based on the achievements of our fencers at regional and national competitions. Compare the results and judge for yourself !!!
And the best is yet to come for the 2017-2018 season with our awesome coaching team and fantastic fencers. The Richmond RYC held Saturday September 22nd - Sunday September 23rd 2018 Proved to be a victorious effort by FSA Fencers! Overall Fencing Sports Academy came home with 27 Medals, The largest out of any club! 4 Gold medals (the most out of any club) 4 Silver medals (the most out of any club) 7 Bronze medals (the most out of any club) 12 Top 8 Medals
A huge congratulations to all FSA fencers and coaches who participated in Summer Nationals Event in St Louis. FSA is proud of all the hard work that brought home 17 top 32 Finishes! 1 Silver Medal, 4 Bronze Medals, and 3 Top 8 Medals!
FSA fencers dominated the Y10 podium with 2 fencers earning medals in the Y10 Men's Epee. Jeyoon Ryan earned a gold medal and Wimmer Nathaniel earned the silver medal. In the Y14 women's Epee, Husisian Hadley earned a gold medal. Congrats to all fencers who participated in these events!!! FSA Fencers competed in Baltimore, MD, at the Fairfax Challenge on March 24 and 25, 2018. The Academy of Sports fencers won several medals at the RJCC Region 6 Fairfax Challenge.
