FSA fencers entered a couple of tournaments this past weekend, October 7th – 9th, and walked away with several medals.
In St. Louis, FSA fencers participated in the Daugherty Youth Cup SYC/RCC. Nathaniel Wimmer earned a gold medal in Y10 Men’s Epee, and a bronze in the Y12 Men’s Epee event. Logan Moore earned a top 8 medal in the Y10 Men’s Epee event. Chandler Wimmer Earned a top 8 medal in the Y14 Men’s Epee Event. Ariadna Tucker Alarcon earned a bronze medal in the Y14 Women’s Foil event.
Closer to home FSA fencers participated in the Jedi Challenge held by NOVA Fencing Club. FSA fencers took control of the podium with 2 fencers earning medals in the Y14 Mixed foil event. Aileen Zhao earned the silver medal, and Claire Cho earned the bronze medal.
