FSA Fencers Continue to Dominate

FSA fencers competed in the Virginia Division 2016 Junior Olympic Qualifiers October 15-16, 2016. The club is proud of the fencers that competed and the results of all their hard work. In the Cadet (U17) Men's Epee Event Joseph Doan won god. Alongside him, Rahul Jha and Alexander Lipper both won top 8 medals. In The Cadet (U17) Men's Foil event FSA fencers swept the top of the podium. Aaron Stone won the gold and Matthew Freden won the silver medal. In Cadet (U17) Women's Epee Maryanne D'Souza won the silver medal. Nina Saadat won gold in the Cadet (U17) Women's Foil event. In the Junior (U20) Men's Epee event Danny Campbell won the gold medal and Joseph Doan and Benjamin Adolphe both won top 8 medals. In Junior (U20) Men's Foil David Xiao won the gold medal. Aaron Stone and Matthew Freden finished with top 8 medals too. In the Junior (U20) Women's Epee Sabine Desamours came away with the gold medal and Maryanne D'Souza finished with a top 8 medal. Nina Saadat won the bronze medal in Junior (U20 Women's Foil.
