Congratulations go out to the 3 fencers training at the Fencing Sports Academy for qualifying for the World Championship in 2020. Congratulations to Hadley on winning the Cadet US Championship and qualifying for the United States National team. Hadley will be representing the United States in Cadet and Junior Women’s Epee. Congratulations to Ariadna. She will be representing Spain in the World Championship in Cadet and Junior Women’s Foil. Ariadna benefits from the great team of foil coaches. Foil Coach Machado and her father, Coach Rolando Tucker Leon are providing the expertise to bring her talent to its full potential. Congratulations to Carlos. He will be representing Mexico in the World Championship in Junior Men’s Foil and Senior Men’s Foil. Coaches Machado and Olympic Medalist Rolando Tucker Leon helped him succeed.
FSA had 88 entries in the tournament and returned with 30 medals. 7 Gold, 2 Silver, 10 Bronze, and 11 Top 8 Medals. Fencing Sports Academy outpace all other clubs by a land slide. Summer Nationals 2019 Hadley Gold in Cadet Womens Epee Yasmany Diaz Silver in Vet 40 Mens Foil Ariadna Tucker 6th place in Y14 Womens Foil Emily Qui 8th place in Y10 Womens Epee Premier Challenge RYC RJCC Sept 6-8 2019 Andrew Bronze and earned C19 rating Cadet Men's Foil Tom Wright Memorial Scott - Bronze Vet Mixed Epee Loudoun Season Opener Lauren - Top 8 Medal (5th) Senior Women's Epee Daniel - Gold Mixed Div 3 Jean Carlos - Silver Mixed Div 3 ![]() This event will benefit The Arc of Northern Virginia, which promotes and protects the human rights of people with intellectual and developmental disabilities and continuously encourages their participation in the community throughout their lives. The Arc of Northern Virginia is a local chapter of the largest non-profit organization providing support, direct services, education, and advocacy to over 34,000 people with disabilities and their families in Alexandria, Fairfax, Falls Church, and Fairfax and Arlington Counties. The race will take place on August 25, 2019 at 7:45 AM for the 10K and 8:00 AM for the 5K and will run through the scenic paths of Burke Lake Park. The race course starts and ends at 7315 Ox Rd, Fairfax Station, VA 22039, which is Burke Lake Park. FSA fencers competed in the Daugherty Cup SYC & RCC and the Virginia RYC this past weekend April 26th, 27th & 28th 2019. The results of FSA Fencers are posted below! Congratulations to the fencers for all their hard work! A combined 31 medals this weekend!
A huge Congratulations to FSA Fencer Hadley. Hadley competed in the April Championships and NAC in Salt Lake City, Utah April 12th - 15th 2019. Hadley's Hard work culminated in a Top 8 Medal in the Division 1 Women's Epee Championships.
Fencing Sports Academy fencers dominated the Fairfax Challenge RJCC/RYC held this past weekend April 6th & 7th 2019. FSA Fencers combined for a total of 41 Medals at this event. 11 gold medals, 5 silver, 9 bronze medals, and 16 top 9 medals.
