Capitol Clash SYC Results

January 14-16, 2017 Fencing Sports Academy had 35 of our fencers participate in the Capitol Clash SYC and Cadet event held at the Gaylord National Harbor in Maryland. As always, FSA fencers had a strong showing. Overall FSA had 11 fencers earn national points, 8 finished top 12, and 3 of our fencers medaled. Rahul Jha won a bronze medal in the Cadet Men's Epee event, Hadley Husisian earned a top 8 medal in the Y14 Women's Epee event, and Meera Desai earned a top 8 medal in the Y10 Women's Epee event. Gabriel Castro finished in the top 12 of the Y10 Men's Foil event. Frida Tucker Alarcon finished top 12 in Y10 Women's Foil. Ben Adolphe finished top 12 in Cadet Men's Epee. Hadley Husisian finished top 12 in Cadet Women's Epee. Nina Saadat finished top 12 in Cadet Women's Foil. All of these finishes earned the respective fencers national points. Nathan Wimmer Y10 Men's Epee, Drew Mitchum Y14 Men's Epee, and Alex Lipper Cadet Men's Epee all earned national points as well.
